Sara Zeff Geber is a certified retirement coach and a recognized expert in planning for the next phase of life for the baby boom generation. Sara was among the first professionals in the field to recognize that the Baby Boomers would re-invent the whole notion of retirement and aging in a positive and exciting way.
With her coaching, writing and speaking, Dr. Geber helps people understand what they need to do to prepare for the future – retirement and beyond. She has made raising awareness of the special challenges of Solo Agers her personal crusade, speaking and writing to gerontology professionals, developers, lawmakers, and others who play a role in the aging of America.
Sara has a Ph.D. in Counseling and Human Behavior, a M.A. in Guidance and Counseling, and a B.A in Psychology. As a former management consultant, she has worked successfully, both nationally and internationally, with multi-billion dollar corporations, small to medium-size organizations, and forward-thinking individuals.
A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Sara is an active member of the The Life Planning Network, and The Transition Network. She is on the leadership team for the NorCal Life Planning Network (LPN) and has been a board member for LPN National. In her scarce spare time Sara sings soprano in community choirs, enjoys live theater, is a wine lover, and grows vegetables in her garden in the summer. She lives with her husband and their canine companion in northern California.
